Founded as a family-owned medical device covering fabrication business, Sheathing technologies was founded in 1992 in San Jose. By 2017 the company had relocated to Morgan Hill occupying two small 1600 sq ft buildings. In order to expand business operations and efficiency, they purchased the 42,000 sq ft building at 675 Jarvis Dr, where they still reside today. Continuing to expand, Sheathing technologies is looking into buying additional equipment and building new space to expand production. Serving primarily medical providers, their products consist only of probe covers and barriers for customers which are used in medical procedures such as ultrasounds. Sheathing Technologies employes 70 full-time people, predominately Spanish speaking.
